Duties & Responsibilities:
Set up the line area at the beginning of each shift.
Keep kitchen prep area, hot line, and dish tank clean and organized.
Must have good communication with staff and be able to carry out the plan of the day from the Kitchen Manager
Keep line stocked and prepped
Must work well under pressure
Complete side work as assigned by management including taking out trash, putting away stock, cleaning restrooms, etc.
Follows checklists and recipes as necessary
Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling.
Prepare work area for either opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with The Highway Brewing Co. standards.
Punches in on time in full uniform, ready to work, and no earlier than five minutes prior to shift
Take required beer and food courses
At least 18 years of age
Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Must be able to lift 60 lbs
Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time
Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined during training period of 90 days
Must know basics of kitchen operations, including weight and measures, sanitation, reading and executing a recipe from start to finish
